The symposium "Phages in Sète" will take place from Tuesday 12 November (from 14:00) to Thursday 14 November 2024 (departure 13:00) at the domain of the Lazaret in Sète. This is the ninth annual symposium organized by the multidisciplinary thematic network Phages.fr.
The objective of our network is to bring together the community of French teams involved in bacteriophage research, while being open to international teams. At the annual symposium, five bacteriophage scientists from different fields will give a plenary lecture at the beginning of each session.
The registration fee charged to each participant (125€ for non-permanent participants, 250€ for permanent participants and 500€ for industrial participants) will cover an "all inclusive" formula (including costs for the conference, accommodation, meals and gala evening). Attention, in case of arrival on Monday 11/11, it will be possible to arrive directly at the Lazaret but a surcharge will be charged (to be paid directly to the estate of the Lazaret).
Oral and poster presentations given by network members will be in English for the sake of inclusiveness vis-à-vis foreign colleagues. The package will provide an overview of current research and promote scientific interactions between teams working in diverse and complementary fields. The sessions will be:
